Kauloa Ranch, is one of my favorite places to photograph Weddings on Oʻahu because you can create so much variety without losing the feeling of the location. We can create couples portrait surrounded by lush green mountains, and we can photograph against the coastline with Mokoliʻi, often known as Chinaman’s Hat, rising from the ocean in the distance.

What is the best time for Wedding Photos at Kualoa Ranch?

Light changes quickly in Hawaiʻi, so timing makes a huge difference. Whenever the wedding timeline allows, I love scheduling some of the couple portraits around golden hour, when the light becomes softer and warmer and the mountains take on an entirely different feeling.

Before your wedding, I’ll work with you to understand your timeline, the photographs that matter most to you, and the feeling you want your gallery to have. On the wedding day, I combine documentary moments with gentle direction for portraits, capturing everything from the ceremony and emotional in-between moments to family photographs, couple portraits, and golden hour.
